Many achievements we want in life take a considerable amount of time and effort to attain. Unless you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you can't start at the top. Most of us have to start at the bottom and work our way up the ladder of life. Obtaining a good education can take many years of schooling beyond the twelve years it requires to complete high school. The benefits and rewards from getting a good education are limitless and long-lasting. For some, a good education means being able to get a well paying job, a job that you enjoy, financial freedom, happiness, peer recognition or personal satisfaction to name a few. Put Universal Laws To Work For You

Newton's third law of motion is also known as the law of action and reaction states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This universal law can be used to your advantage if you know how it works. Basically I think it works like Karma. Positive actions result in a positive reaction and negative actions result in negative reactions.

What is Karma?

The idea behind karma is found in Buddhism, Hinduism, and the Bible suggests that everyone will harvest the results of their actions:

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

Wisdom from the Orient...

Learning from the advice and wisdom of others is a great way to learn and avoid problems in life. There have been many wise philosophers who have left us words of wisdom.

Confucius 551 BC - 479 BC) was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher, whose teachings and philosophy deeply influenced Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese life. He put the greatest emphasis on the importance of study.

"To see and listen to the wicked is already the beginning of wickedness."

"When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps"

"To know, is to know that you know nothing. That is the meaning of true knowledge"

- Confucius

The Parable Reaping and Sowing:

Want to be Rich & Wealthy? Plant a Big Crop!

It's not just for those who read the bible, sowing and reaping is another universal law anyone can use to their advantage. Nobody said it was going to be easy, this is no get rich quick plan but it will work every time. Any farmer knows that if you want a small crop, you sow just a little seed. If you want a big crop, you sow a lot of seed. It takes a lot of hard work to prepare the soil, plant the seeds, water and care for the plants, and to protect your investment. The better you care for your crop the better the harvest will be. Your reward comes after the crop has been harvested and sold at market.

You can use this universal law to your advantage everyday! Some people call it Karma. The whole concept of Karma is based on the idea that what you give is what you get back. Ever notice that when you smile at someone they tend to smile back at you. Being nice to others is contagious! If you are a happy person, other people will react towards you in a happy way. If you help someone in their time of need, then one day someone will help you in your time of need. On the other hand, this universal law can work against you. Negative begets negative, meaning that if you do something mean, cruel or evil, the same results may eventually come back upon you. Not good.

This law is automatically applied to whatever you sow. Some people invest their time and money fixing up run-down houses. They refurbish them hoping for a profitable resale at a later time. Other people invest in themselves by getting a good education. A college degree can help you obtain a well paying job in the future. Some people put their money into a savings account and let the interest accrue for many years until they have enough to retire. Some people do volunteer work and are happy with the satisfaction and joy it gives them to help others. The list of things you can sow today are endless. What you sow today will determine what you reap tomorrow. Don't be confused by the basic example of planting seeds and growing a crop, that is just one way of describing the act of preparing today for what you want to happen tomorrow. The important thing to remember is that you need to start today, create a simple step by step plan for success,  and work every day towards your goal. And no matter what.. never give up.
